I haven't made a journal in a long time and I didn't think I'd ever need to, but here we are. To cut to the chase, me, my partner, and my cat live in a room rented out by a family near my university I study at. My mum helps to cover rent.. Except for this month, where despite saying originally she had this month covered, she now does not. I don't know why, and it doesn't seem like her to lie or spend it all, so I theorise it was stolen by her toxic carer and carer's child but, no proof of that. Houselady who manages our rent isn't happy about this. I've told her me and my partner are applying for Universal Credit but she complained that it would take too long and wouldn't cover rent anyway so "what's the point?". I started a part-time job very recently and don't receive my first paycheck until next month, so that doesn't help at all.
